About Me
I am a part-time student at Penn State World Campus and employed full-time. My intended major is Digital Multimedia Design; I am anticipating finishing my degree by 2031.
I enjoy exploring the outdoors, reading, playing video games, listening to music, and spending quality time with my husband and our pets. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Joe Hill, and Daniel Kraus. I enjoy survival/crafting games the most, and my favorite game of all time is 7 Days to Die. My favorite artists are Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, alt-J, Sublime, and Interpol. My favorite song is Evil by Interpol, followed by First by Cold War Kids, Freeze Me by Death from Above 1979, and Like a Stone by Audioslave.
I did not know what I wanted to go to college for – or if I even wanted to go to college – straight out of high school. At first, I thought I wanted to study psychology. Then radiology. Then it was technical writing, and briefly political science. None of these got very far.
I am now pursuing Digital Multimedia Design because I want to learn how to problem-solve more creatively and more effectively. I have never felt drawn to any one particular subject area – and especially in my current job, I like to help in all departments wherever I can – I just want to continue to learn new things and apply my skillset wherever it can be the most helpful.
